[50] Unhoused People
receive bags
Blessed in [2026]
through The Manna Bag Project
Our goal is simple. With the help of donations and sponsor funding, we, B.E.E. A Liberator, will supply 50 Manna Bags. We then ask volunteers to assemble bags with us. On October 11, we will pass out the Manna Bag to any unhoused person we see. No recipient will have to register, pay, or do anything to receive the bag. This program has been made possible for an annual return by Word of Life Church of Winston-Salem.
❋ Faith BasedManna is first mentioned in Exodus 16 as a provision from God to sustain the Israelite migrants traveling to the Promised Land. This sustenance helped the people for 40 years. The moment they reached the land of Canaan, the Manna was no more.
❋ Community supportedToday, the word Manna may be used in a different context, but the theme remains the same: giving and provision. Manna Bags are assembled with houseless people in mind. Combating poverty is extremely difficult to do alone. According to Matthew 25:34-40, it should not be done alone. Our community can be the blessing needed to help fill the gaps in someone’s way of life, while 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 says that if I share what I have, I should do it willingly.
❋ Outreach InitiativeThrough The Manna Bag Project, B.E.E. A Liberator, a North Carolina nonprofit, is proposing an effort to supply, build, and distribute Manna bags to houseless people in Winston-Salem (and the greater area) with the help of our local community. We are interested in sharing and growing this endeavor with you.
